Just One More...Mama Promises!

Oh yes, that is right…IT IS A GIRL!

First there was shock (from me) and joy (from Nate…just because he was RIGHT and we were ALL WRONG)…

Then there was more shock and joy…

Then there were pictures to capture the moment…

Then we took a ride…

Then we watched the rest of mom's video…super cool to see her see the gender revealed for the first time!

Then we ate homemade lemon meringue pie…

Then Nate went for a L.O.N.G run.

Thanks for enjoying this time with us and indulging me with my little story.  This was a fantastic night that will be memorable for us for our lifetime and a great story for OUR THIRD BABY GIRL!

A day in the life of Chase.
He is ALL boy and into every sport.  I do not lie when I say to you that he can hit any type of ball further than I can.  He is S.E.R.I.O.U.S about running and pitching...he has a "form" already.
Use caution...you might have a bad hair day if you go down one too many times :)

The wonderful gift of a Nikon camera has turned my kids' (and a good friend's kids)world upside down since Christmas.  I must say I have had a passion for photography since a young age when my dad bought me a Nikon point and shoot camera.  I was on the yearbook team and volunteered to take all of the staged photos, even clearing many shelves of library books to create the perfect scene for one shoot.  Yes I am the crazy mom who takes 20 pictures to get the one good one...in front of the giraffe at the zoo.  I used my pocket sized Nikon like it was the biggest SLR on the planet.  I have desired a larger camera for quite some time but if you just take a glance at the pay for an E-6 you can quickly see that is just not in the budget when you have two kids and all you have ever wanted to do is be a stay-at-home mom!  Well my dreams have come true and I am off and running with a new Nikon D90.  My first class to learn how to get past AUTO is just a few Fridays away and words cannot describe my excitement!  My candy jar must grow so that I have plenty of bribery on hand at all times! As for my friend's kids, maybe they will be slightly more tolerant since I am not their mom, but I am not beyond bribing them either...because they are little country hunks and you just need that no hair fixing kind of photo day sometimes!  Can I get an Amen from those Mamas with girls?
